What is a Pediatric Dentist?

A Pediatric Dentist is a specialist who has a general college education, a doctoral degree in dentistry, and has completed two or more years in a hospital or university residency program.  This educational experience qualifies the specialist as being uniquely trained to care for the oral health of infants, children and teenagers, including those with special needs.

Dr. Hollenberg has been in practice in the Katy area since 1983.  He earned his Board Certification from the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry in 1991.  He continues to participate in continuing education several times each year with emphasis on orthodontic education.
